The I.C.E.S. spa society, cultivates marble deposits in the north part of Versilia and in the province of Massa - Carrara, treats (refines) in the establishment of Serravezza (Lucca) an amount higher than 150.000 tons of calcium carbonate par year. The crystalline lime tones by which are composed those deposits, have got a homogeneous composition of an high purity. The warranty for the availability of the raw material and its chemical characteristics gives the possibility to the I.C.E.S. spa to satisfy demands of products of different granulometry, for specific uses.

Our new marketing prospect for specific employment, encourages us toward the study of new ideas for the introduction of new products, without changing the original production history, that proudly includes important customers since the beginning of our activity. Our main catchment area is the centre-north of Italy and the main islands. Thanks to the help of specific means of transports, we are organising to start an activity in the south of Italy, due to the importance of this mineral, that by now makes part of the main structure of many daily applications.
